Russell Milton Fallows

Nov. 20, 1944 - Oct. 23, 2017

Russell Milton Fallows, 72, passed away peacefully October 23, 2017, surrounded by his girls.  He was born November 20, 1944, to Jesse Williams Fallows and Francis Elmira Bassett.  He married Aldean Thompson and they were later divorced.  He then married Twyla Jean Batt, and they enjoyed 28 years together.

Russ served in the United States Army, with an honorable discharge.  He worked as a Keypunch Repairman for the Internal Revenue Service.

Russ enjoyed working with his hands and had a knack for making things run.  He worked as a diesel mechanic and started his own trucking company with his sweethaeart, Twyla, R & TJ's Trucking.

He traveled across the country and created many memories with his granddaughters, and created many friendships along the way.  He loved fishing and hunting with friends and family, and also enjoyed riding four-wheelers with his grandkids.  After retiring, he spent his free time in his shop building and making more memories with his girls--he was their personal "Do-It-Yourself with Grandps' go to guy.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Gramps was a very loving and generous man, and a great friend to many.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  We love you very much!

He is survived by his wife, Twyla of Spanish Fork; Daughter, Jackie (Jedd) Olsen of Spanish Fork; Seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Venna Sessions of Ogden.  He is preceded in death by his son, Todd; and son-in-law, Rob; parents; brothers: Duane, Glen, Ivan, Kay, Hugh, and Richard Fallows; and two brothers-in law, Ken Peterson and Bill Sessions.
