Jane Hurd Nobles

February 18, 1945 – August 27, 2010   (65 years old)

Obituary:

Jane Nobles passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with leukemia with her loved ones by her side.  Following Jane's wishes she will be cremated and a private family celebration of her life will be held.

She was born February 18, 1945, to Wallace Edmund and Leola Tracy Hurd.  She was raised in Snowville.  She earned her degree in cosmetology from the Hollywood School of Beauty and was licensed in both Utah and California.  She enjoyed many years as a beautician, which included owning her own shop located in Brigham City.

Jane was also a past president of the Eagles Auxiliary of Brigham City as well as member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.  She married Charles Edward Nobles on September 12, 1964, and nine years later they were blessed with their son, Wallace Edward Nobles.  She is survived by her husband of 46 years, her son and daughter-in-law (Amanda Nobles), four grandchildren (Colton, Shelby, Tay, and Porter Nobles).  She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Sam and Winnie Nobles and her sister Lonnie Pingel.

Jane never met a stranger and was truly an inspiration to those that knew her.  During her stays at the Huntsman she could always be seen with a smile on her face or heard telling one of her many jokes to those around her
