Pauline Fay Laws Maguire, age 73, returned to her sweetheart on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Tremonton, Utah. She was born to John George Laws & Colleen Udy Laws in Tremonton, Utah on January 27, 1945.
She married the love of her life Darrell James Fredrick Maguire on August 29, 1968 in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple in 1972.
She attended and graduated from Bear River High School and attended Utah State University.
She had been employed as a Food Service Supervisor for the Tremonton Nursing Home, Brigham City Nursing Home, Sunshine Terrace in Logan, and Subway in Tremonton.
Pauline loved her family, both biological, and those in the Thatcher-Penrose 1st Ward. She also loved to laugh and make others laugh. Oh boy could she cook!
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was also a member of the Tremonton Ladies Civic League.
Pauline is survived by her son: Darrell James Maguire Jr., daughters: Darlene Maguire and Beverly (Chad) Richins, and Granddaughters: Camille Fay Maguire and Sophie Jade Maguire.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Darrell James Maguire, her son: John Paul Maguire, her sister and partner in crime: Beverly Jenkins, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Thatcher LDS Chapel (11475 W 10400 N Thatcher, UT) at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:30 a.m. There will also be a viewing on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E Tremonton, UT).
